To apply for a teaching position at Avalon Center, please send us the following items.
- The Center's official Application for Employment form in PDF format, signed and dated.
- Your resume or curriculum vitae or a detailed narrative of your experiences relevant to the courses you wish to teach
- A list of the courses from our catalog that you are interested in developing
- At least one sample syllabus or outline of one of these courses
- A cover letter in which you explain why you would like to teach at Avalon and address the other questions on the applicaton form.
- Official transcripts of academic work you have completed at college or university
- Copies of official completion documents in non-academic training or study programs
- Two Letters of recommendation from people familiar with your work.
