Flidais Airmid has a BFA in Glass/Sculpture from Rhode Island School of Design and a certificate degree from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. Flidais is currently working on her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. She is a certified Herbalist, Aromatherapist and a Reiki Master. Presently, she is taking the Bardic course with the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids and she has been doing solitary training for years with Wiccan and other traditions. With Druidry she feels she has finally come home.

Astrocelt. is presently an Ovate within the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids. He holds the degree of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Welsh History with Archaeology from the University of Wales Bangor. Combined with extensive practical hands on life experiences, he is an ex-serviceman, and later tradesperson culminating with managerial experience. Astrocelt is self-taught in astrology and has worked extensively within the realms of magic and natural philosophy for a considerable time. Subsequently the philosophy gained has been tested academically at the beginning of the 21st century by an associate who is taking it further, to a PhD level.

Joey Bernard holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and has done graduate work in physics. Born into a French Roman Catholic family, Mr Bernard has studied Taoism, Buddhism, various Christian sects, and various neo-pagan religions. He has spent several years as a member of the Henge of Keltria and Ar nDraiocht Féin (ADF). Currently he is an Ovate grade member of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids, and is a Probationer with the Sanctuary of Maat, a Golden Dawn current occult group. He is also studying with the Order of the Mithril Star. Mr Bernard lives with his family in New Brunswick, Canada where he works as a systems architect.

Liz Johnson has been in private practice since 1995. She has fifteen years experience in the Medicinal and Magickal uses of herbs that has been enhanced with course work with local herbalists, national speakers, and with the Australasian College of Herbal Studies. She also has a B.Sci. in developmental psychology. Liz has been teaching herbalism for five years and is happy to be on-line at the Avalon College of Druidry.

James W. Maertens, PhD (Alferian) is a writer, wizard, and seeker of adventure with some twenty years of experience teaching college level courses in language, literature, and cultural studies.  His lifelong love of Arthurian legends, fantasy, poetry, and the natural world has led him to the study and teaching of Druid philosophy.  Dr. Maertens' magical studies include ceremonial magick, witchcraft, herbology, as well as Dwarvish and Elvish languages.  He is a member in the Druid grade of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids (OBOD), a member of ADF and the AODA, & Master Wandmaker of Bard Woodcrafts Wandery.

Darren Meyer (Mangan Tairis) is an experienced Technologist, with over ten years of experience working with complex computing environments and Internet technologies; he hopes to bring this experience to Avalon's online schooling system and technology planning. Through his spirituality, grown out of an ordination in a conservative Christian faith and progressed through studies of many world religions before arriving at Druidic thought, Mangan has gained balanced experience and an appreciation for the wisdom offered through any faith.

Ann Rowe, M.A. (Caritas) was born in Boulder, Colorado where she began reading and writing at a very early age and continues to write too many things to enumerate here. She holds a baccalaureate in history and one in anthropology from the University of Colorado in Boulder and a Master of Arts specializing in medieval social and intellectual history from there as well.  Her Ph.D. research focuses on the Wars of the Three Kingdoms during the seventeenth century in Britain. In addition to teaching and writing, Ms. Rowe studies many topics, gardens, hikes and camps whenever the opportunity arises, and indulges her interests in philosophy, religion and spirituality.  A bit footloose by nature, she heads off on travels whenever the opportunity and funding coincide. Ms. Rowe lives in Windsor, Colorado with her husband, her incredible and fascinating son, an Irish Wolfhound-Dalmatian mix, a Greyhound-German Shepherd mix, and one very large cat in a home full of books, plants, and esoterica.

Tsis’detsi Tsigoti. Born of Native American and Celtic blood, Tsis’detsi Tsigoti has studied esoteric arts with both Cherokee and Druid medicine people and elders.   Her life experience has given her extensive knowledge of the healing arts including aromacrystal massage, spiritual nutrition, meditation as medicine, crystal divination, and earth astrology.  A natural stonetalker, Tsis’detsi Tsigoti has nearly two decades experience with psychic clubs and mind body spirit festivals working as a medium, spiritual advisor, and crystal counselor. Tsis’detsi Tsigoti currently lives in the United States, where she works as an intuitive healer and astrologer, and teaches crystal divination and meditation.

Joy Vernon of Denver, Colorado has a BA in English from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota and a second BA in Theatre Arts: Directing from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. After first becoming involved in neo-paganism through the Carleton Druids, Joy moved to Colorado where she received three years of private instruction in the Craft. A writer, director, producer and stage manager, Joy has earned her living working in non-profit administration and performing arts production. Joy has been developing and leading transformative group ritual since 1991. She is certified in Tarot by the Tarot Certification Board of America, certified in Herbalism by Motherlove Herbals of Bellvue, Colorado, and is a Reiki Master/Teacher and tends the Flame of Brighid, 2nd Watch. Joy's goal is to combine performance and ritual as a transformative healing modality.

Brenda Williams lives in North Carolina; however, Scotland is the home of her heart. She has spent some significant lifetimes there, especially two around Roslin where the famous chapel now stands. Her ancestors have kept a very detailed family tree going back to the Stewarts and Bruces. She has studied Scottish history for the past twenty years, as well as the Knights Templar and the Grail Mysteries. Ms Williams is currently working on a novel, entitled, Daughter of Rosslyn. She practices a blend of Wiccan and celtic spirituality, which she has studied through mentors and workshops for ten years.
